The key to rewiring old behavior patterns lies in developing daily practices to support a new way of being. The Healing Circle monthly guide is designed to help you cultivate awareness around these patterns and provide you with solutions that you can put into practice immediately. But putting new practices into action can often be quite challenging. And that’s okay. The healing journey isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness, compassion, and reflection. We’re bound to make mistakes. We’re human after all. It’s through reflection and accountability that we achieve growth and move forward along the path.

focus for june
Executive dysfunction is a common struggle that can accompany trauma, making it extremely difficult to develop new habits that support a regulated nervous system. So, this month in the Healing Circle, we’ll be focusing on reclaiming the practice of ritual from our ancestors. Ritual supports a regulated nervous system because it requires your full presence and attention. There is intention, energy, and commitment behind it, bringing you into connection, awareness, and devotion. These are conscious acts that help improve accountability, alleviate grief, reduce anxiety, and increase confidence.

She always listened and help me deconstruct any situation in a way that made everything more clear and easier to work with. Some of the most important things I’ve learned so far were to understand and be compassionate towards the parts of me I thought were harder to love, and to learn how to contradict my conditioning on a daily basis. “I had been going to therapy for years and I kept falling back into the same cycles and feeling stuck over and over again.
I remember how supportive and loving Shayna was right from the beginning, and it was so nice to have someone understand me and truly listen because I felt like I had been drowning in myself. The group ended up being an even bigger support system than I could have ever imagined. I was nervous to open up at first but with each meeting and each lesson it helped me keep opening up to parts of myself that I had been neglecting for years. “I had always wanted to learn how to reach my inner child and through Shayna’s guidance and the group’s support, I was able to identify the trauma from my past and begin working on healing. “My work with Shayna was very reflective. She asked some difficult questions to try and get me out of my comfort zone (that is where the magic happens). She had me role play and start to get to the root of the inner child in me that has always felt abandoned. She openly shared some of her own journeys which made me feel less alone and more safe.
